MIRPURKHAS, Feb 28: A meeting of representatives from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Pakistan Muslim League-Functional, Sindh Taraqqi-pasand Party, Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, Socialist Party and various other parties and social organisations held here on Thursday demanded a downward revision of the toll tax charged from users of the HyderabadMirpurkhas road route.

Expressing their strong reservations over the rate of the toll tax and alleged rude attitude of the contractor`s staff, they decided to launch a campaign if the district administration did not consider their demand favourably.

The meeting constituted a committee to hold negotiations with the officials concerned.-BoC
