OKARA: A-Division police registered a case on Tuesday against a man for building a new structure at an old building in A block.

Sheikh Riaz started construction at the building in violation of prohibition by the municipal authorities.

The building needed to be dismantled for any new construction activity.

On the report of theplanning officer, the case was registered against Mr Riaz.

DIES: A railway police constable died after he suffered injuries under the wheels of Karachi-toLahore Fareed Express at Mandi Ahmadabad railway station on Tuesday.

Constable Ghulam Nabi tried to get on the moving train but fell and suffered serious injuries under the train. He was shifted to some Lahore hospital where he died.
