Intermediate exams from 6th

RAWALPINDI: The higher secondary school certificate (HSSC) annual exams 2017 under the RawalpindiBoardofIntermediateandSecondary E ducation (RBISE) will start on May 6.

According to RBISE Chairman Dr Mohammad Zareef, foolproof arrangements have been made for transparent and smooth holding of the exams. He said 190 examination centres had been set up.

The roll number slips of the regular candidates have been sent to their respective institutes while those of the private candidates have been dispatched on their given addresses.

Apart from the board office at Morgah, the students can also contact the controller examinations on phone number 051-5450917-18 in case they did not receive the rollnumber slips on time.

He said 66,034 candidates 43,026 regular and 23,008 private would appear in the exams.

As many as 190 superintendents, 207 deputy superintendents and 190 invigilators have been appointed for the exams. Thirty centres have been set up in the Attock district, 36 in Chakwal, 25 in Jhelum and 99 in Rawalpindi.

Out of the centres, 98 are for girl students and 75 for boys while there are also 17 combined examination centres.

Special monitoring teams have also been formed which would present reports to the chairman on a daily basis. APP
