ISLAMABAD: The capital police along with Pakistan Rangers and other security agencies on Thursday conducted a search operation in different areas of Koral and arrested 22 suspects including four Afghan nationals, police said.

According to details, officers/officials of Islamabad Police, Pak Rangers and other security agencies conducted search operation in the areas of Ghori Town, Khana Dak, Ghori VIP phase and its adjacent areas, they stated.

During the search operation headed by DSP Nilore Malik Naeem Iqbal, more than 110 houses were raided which led to the arrest of 22 suspects including four Afghan nationals, the police said.

Police also recovered weapons and 4.2kg hashish during the operation, they added. Staff Reporter
