English speech contest held at Islamia College

LAHORE: An English speech contest was held among students from various colleges here on Wednesday at Government Islamia College Civil Lines in connection with the chief minister`s debate competitions.

College Principal Javed Ahmad Bajwa presided over the function.

Students belonging to Lahore, Sheikhupura, Rawalpindi, Rahim Yar Khan, Pakpattan, Jhelum, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Jauharabad, Vehari, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, Muzaf fargarh, Sialkot, Okara, Rajanpur, Jhang, and Toba Tek Singh participated in the event, says a press release.

First, second and third prizes were bagged by students of colleges in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Rawalpindi, Rahim Yar Khan, Pakpattan, Jhelum and Sargodha.

First, second and third prizes for inter-level winners were secured by Saad bin Raheel, Muhammad Abdullah and Muhammad Mahwar Anjum.

The prizes at degree level were bagged by M. Zohaib, Muhammad Bemisal and Mehroz If tikhar.

First, second and third prizes at postgraduate level were grabbed by M. Fahad Anjum, Hafiz M. Raees and Talat Husain.
