JHANG: Three friends died af ter consuming `tainted`liguor here on Monday night in Bhabharana locality. Riaz, a resident of Faisalabad, visited his cousin Shabbir alias Sunny at Bhabharana, Jhang Saddar, where they along with their friends Arshad Ansari and Azam consumed liquor.

Arshad died on the spot while the other three were rushed to DHQ hospital. Azam and Shabbir died during treatment at hospital whereas Riaz is said to be critical.

City police have arrested alleged bootlegger Asif. Correspondent
