TAXILA: A man was killed while he was returning home after attending a religious procession in an Imambargah in the limits of Wah Cantonment police station on Tuesday evening, police sources said.

The assailants attacked Raza Jaffri, 45, with some blunt object near his house in Lala Rukh, killing him on the spot. His body was shifted to THQ hospital Taxila for autopsy.

The Wah Cantonment police have registered a case and started further investigation. Two caretakers of a local Imambargah were shot last month in same police station limits. The case has not been resolved as yet.Correspondent
