LAHORE: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Tuesday approved two development schemes worth Rs5.3 billion.
The schemes were approved in the 26th meeting of the PDWP of current fiscal year 2016-17, presided over by Punjab P&D Board Chairman Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.
According to the spol(esman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included promotion of high value agriculture through the provision of climate smart technology package at a cost of Rs4.8 billion and widening/improvement of a road from Heera Adda to Ghalloo Mor Ladhana and Pir Jaggi Sharif, Layyah tehsil, at a cost of Rs499 million.
