LARKANA: Larkana Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Judge Mohammed Riaz Rajput on Friday remanded one of three nominated suspects in the five-year-old girl`s rape and murder case in judicial custody for seven days.

He also extended the police remand of two other suspects for seven days.

All three suspects were produced before the judge by the investigation wing of the Waleed police station for an extension in their police remand for further interrogation. They are accused of kidnapping the girl, subjecting them to rape and then killing her. The victim`s body was found dumped in a house in Yar Mohammed Kalhoro Colony on Dec 27, 2014.

The suspect remanded in judicial custody was examined at the Chandka Medical College Hospital a couple of days back on a court order to ascertain his age but the report is yet to be released.
