MULTAN: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday issued death warrant of a convict who had already been sentenced to death by trial court as all the forums rejected his appeal.

ATC Court No 2 Judge Muhammad Sajjad signed the death warrant of Ahmad Ali alias Sheesh Naag, who is imprisoned in the New Central Jail. Ahmad Ali was awarded death sentence for killing three men Altaf Hussain, Muhammad Nasir and Muhammad Fiaz and injuring Pervez and Siddique on Railway Road in 1998. An FIR of the incident was lodged with the Bohar Gate police station. Ahmad Ali, who was affiliated with a banned organisation, is scheduled to be hanged on Jan 7.
