MNA asked to ensure equal distribution of funds

KARAK: Advisor to chief minister on prisons Malik Qasim Khan Khattak has threatened to stop the entry of MNA Nasir Khan Khattak into Karak district if he didn`t change his `discriminatory` attitude with the people of PK-41 constituency.

He was addressing a ceremony in Takht-i-Nusrati in connection with the joining of PTI by PML-N elders on Saturday.

He criticised the MNA for ignoring the tehsil in payment of the production bonus funds.

The lawmaker said that people of Takht-i-Nusrati had given votes to Nasir Khan, but his `discriminatory` attitude was promoting divisions among the people of different parts of the district.

The chief minister`s advisor resolved that he would not let anyone to usurp the rights of the people of Takht-i-Nusrati tehsil.

Malik Qasim demanded of MNA Nasir Khan to provide the share of production bonus funds to the tehsil, and warned that if he (Nasir Khan) didn`t change hisattitude, his entry into the district would be blocked.

He welcomed the newcomers into the PTI ranks, and asked them to participate in the protest, schedule to be held on May 11, against the alleged rigging in last general elections.

The lawmaker claimed that PTI was, through a conspiracy, prevented from forming government at the centre, adding that the party would win next general elections as it was popular among people.

Mr Qasim approved a primary school for Wanki Sirajkhel and construction of dykes along the bank of Lawagher seasonal water channel to protect agriculture lands from floods. He also approved pavement of streets in the localities.

The chief minister`s advisor claimed that establishment of Khushal Khan Khattak University, construction of a gravity line from Lawagher dam and provision of jobs to youth were his political achievements.

The elders, who joined the PTI, vowed to follow the agenda of Imran Khan against corruption.
