SAHIWAL: Police claim to have arrested 12 members of four gangs involved in robbery, attempted murder and street crime cases.

According to District Police Officer Muhammad Baqir Raza, Rs4.7 million, seven pistols, two guns and as many revolvers besides bullets were recovered from the suspects.

He said police also seized 2,100 litre liquor and 351(g hashish from the criminals.

LOOTED: Three robbers took away Rs98,000, four mobile phones and grocery items worth Rs8,000 at noon from the Utility Store at Nai Abadi, Jhal Road.

Muhammad Imran, Utility Store in-charge, said three armed robbers entered the utility store and snatched cash and two mobile phones from the staff besides mobile phones from the customers.
