TAXILA: To acknowledge their contributions towards the betterment of society, a walk was held to honour senior citizens in Wah Cantonment on Thursday by the Senior Citizens Foundation of Pakistan.

The walk, held from Lalarukh Chowk to Jinnah Park, was led by POF Chief Lt Gen Omar Mahmood Hayat and students,the civilsociety and seniorcitizens took partinit.

Addressing participants at the end of the walk, Lt-Gen Hayat said the contributions and sacrifices that senior citizens have made for their families and the society should always be remembered and that we should learn from their experiences and seek guidance from them.Correspondent
