LAHORE: The Pakistan Awami Tehreek said on Monday that election tribunal`s decision of re-poll in NA-125 had finally proved the PML-N had got a fake mandate in 2013 elections.

`The verdict shows the PML-N mandate was fake and 2013 elections were massively rigged,` PAT president Dr Raheeq Ahmed Abbasi said in a press release.

He said the tribunal`s decision was the endorsement of PAT`s stand. `What kind of democracy is this where an imposter is made a federal minister. All benefits should be recovered from the fake minister of railways,` he demanded.

He said the time had come that the rulers should go back to the public and seek fresh mandate. For the last two years, the PML-N had been claiming it would accept the decision of the court and that now it should accept it, he added.
