QUETTA: Armed men gunned down a coalmine worker and injured two others in the Marwar area of Bolan district on Tuesday.Levies officials said that Jahanzeb was coming out of a coalmine when armed men opened fire on him. He died on the spot while two others received bullet injuries. Levies personnel shifted the body and the injured to a nearby health facility.

The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained.

The deceased was a resident of Shangla in Swat district.

The body was sent to his native town after completion of medico-legal formalities.
