SUKKUR: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Sukkur announced the result of annual examination-2015 of Higher Secondary Certificate Part-l & II (XI & XII), pre-engineering and pre-medical groups, on Wednesday for the candidates belonging to Sukkur, Ghotki, Khairpur and Naushahroferoze districts.

According to the gazette notification, in pre-medical group, among girls, Ms Faiza student of Ever Shine Higher & Secondary School Gambat obtained 957 marks and secured the first position, Ms Mehrun Nisa Maitlo of Pir-Jo-Goth obtained 956 marks and secured the second position while Ms Sameea Perveen Khuhro of Gambat obtained 952 marks and secured the third position.

Among boys, Muhammad Tayyab Shaikh obtained 952 marks and secured the first position, Maqsood Ahmed Shaikh of Moro obtained 951 marks and stood second while Ali Raza of Mirpur Mathelo obtained 950 marks and secured the third position.

In pre-engineering group, among boys, Zain Ali of Sukkur obtained 972 marks and secured the first position, Osma Shahid Mughal of Army Public School Pano Akil obtained 951 marks and stood second while Shahzaib Kharal of Pir-Jo-Goth obtained 948 marks and secured the third position.

Among girls, Ms Fareeha Shah of Girls Degree College Sukkur obtained 942 marks and secured the first position, Ms Bisma Arain of Girls Degree College Sukkur obtained 936 marks while Ms Burera Memon of Naushahroferoze also obtained the same marks and they jointly secured the second position. Ms Alisha Memon of Ranipur obtained 935 marks and secured the third position.

In pre-medical group, total 8,136 boys and 7,623 girls took part in the examinations. Of them 5,837 boys and 6,393 girls were passed while in pre-engineering group, total 10,900 candidates were passed.
