TOBA TEK SINGH: A woman allegedly set herself on fire in her house in Chak 417-JB in Gojra on Tuesday night.

Gojra Saddar police claimed Aneela had a dispute with her in-laws over which she set herself ablaze after dousing herself with petrol on Tuesday night. She was burnt severely and rushed to the Gojra THQ Hospital from where she was referred to the Allied Hospital in Faisalabad where she died on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, three men were seriously burnt on Wednesday when they received a severe electric shock during installation of an electric water pump. City police said Imran, Tariq and Bilal were boring ground on Khumananwala Road near an electronic saw when their iron rods touched live wires passing over them. Resultantly, they received critical burns and were admitted to the DHQ Hospital. Correspondent
