ISLAMABAD: A clash between two student groups in an educational institution located in the Loi Bher police area left one dead and another injured, police said on Wednesday.

Before the bloody clash a scuffle broke out between the two groups but the issue was settled on the intervention of teachers.

Later one group invited the other in a hotel to settle the issue permanently, they said, adding during the negotiation the groups again clashed and the host to the meeting opened fire on their rivals.

As a result two persons suffered bullet injuries and later shifted to hospital, they said, adding but Sardar Fahim died on his way to the hospital while the other was stated to be stable and was kept in hospital under the doctors’ observation, they added.

According to students, the clash erupted over teasing of a student by a group of friends.
