LAHORE: A 26-year-old robbery suspect was killed afteracitizen openedhre on him in self-defence in Muslim Colony of Samanabad on Tuesday.

Samanabad police said two robbers were looting motorists at a picket in the morning when they signalled motorcyclist Zahid to stop. The biker, who possessed a weapon, suddenly opened fire on the suspects and brought one of them down. The other suspect managed his escape.

Police have shifted the body to Mayo Hospital`s morgue for autopsy and begun investigation.
