LAKKI MARWAT: Police claimed to have arrested two people wanted in terrorism-related cases during a raid in Kurrum Par area on Thursday.

An official said that a police party of Dadiwala police station raided a suspected hideout in Mangala village in the riverine locality and arrested the wanted men.

He said that the raids were carried out when DPO Khalid Hamdani received information about the presence of terrorism suspects in the rural locality.

The official said that the Elite Force and Anti-Terror Squad personnel also took part in the action and assisted the police. “The arrested men, including Haris and Shahzeb, were wanted by Naurang police station in terrorism-related and other cases,” he said.
