KARACHI: The Karachi Water and Sewerage Board disconnected 157 water connections of defaulters on Thursday bringing the total number of disconnected connections to 757 since Wednesday.
Responding to Dawn queries, KWSB managing director Misbahuddin Farid said the disconnection drive against defaulters had been launched all over the city and since Wednesday the areas where the connections had been cut included Liaquatabad, Scheme 33, Gulzar-i-Hijri, Clifton, Baldia, Gulistan-i-Jauhar, Malir, and Bin Qasim, etc.
