HYDERABAD: A woman and her three relatives died and eight other people were injured when the pick-up they were travelling in overturned near a bus stop on the outskirts of Hala town on the National Highway on Thursday evening.

Matiari SSP Amjad Shaikh confirmed the death of Rubina Junejo, 28, wife of Ghulam Hyder Junejo, and her three relatives, Zamiran, 17, daughter of Rabbo Junejo, Mir Hassan, 8, son of Mohammed Ismail, and Gul, 8, son of Rafiq Junejo.

The injured victims were rushed to the Hala Taluka Hospital and then taken to the Liaquat University Hospital for treatment.

According to the SSP, the families were on their way to Qazi Ahmed town to attend a Majlis in Wasi Murad Shah village near Bhitshah.
