TAXILA: The body of a man was recovered from Nikko village, within the limits of the Wah Cantonment police station, on Sunday.
Police said passersby spotted the body and informed the police, who shifted the deceased to the hospital. The deceased was identified as Ahmed Din, a resident of Sabazpeer village in Hassanabdul. Police said Din was a drug addict, who died from drug withdrawal.
In a separate incident, a man shot himself over a domestic dispute in Dhoke Miskeen, within the limits of the Hassanabdal police station. Police said Yar Mohammad, 30, shot himself at home, and handed the body of the deceased after an autopsy at THQ hospital.
