GUJAR KHAN, March 7: A teenage boy allegedly gunned down his father, a brother and two sisters over a matrimonial dispute in the Naban Janjua village of Jatli, about 30 kilometres off here, on Thursday morning.

The Jatli police identified the accused as Mohammad Usman, a student of 10th class.

According to the police, the mother of the accused had estranged relations with his father Mohammad Azad and lived at her parents` home along with her son Usman. On the other hand, Usman`s two sisters Afshan and Ayesha lived with their father.

The police said Azad wanted to marry his daughters with his close relatives while Usman and his mother opposed it. On Thursday morning, Usman, who was appearing in the SSC exams, reached his father`s house and opened fire on the family members.

As a result, Azad, 65, Usman`s brother Qadir Ahmd, 26, and sister Ayesha, 18, died on the spot. His other sister Afshan Bibi, 20, succumbed to the injuries at the tehsil headquarters hospital after recording her statement with the police.

The police have registered a case against the accused and his alleged accomplices, including Munir and Riaz. However, no arrest had been made when this report was filed on Thursday evening.
