Robbers loot cash, valuables

ISLAMABAD: Robbers made off with cash and valuables in different incidents, while the police arrested eight suspects from different areas of the capital, police said here on Tuesday.

In Tarli Kalan, some burglars brokeintothe house of Mohammad Naeem and escaped with cash, gold ornaments and valuables worth Rs900,000.

In Jhangi Saidan, some culprits picked cash and mobile worth Rs20,000 along with documents from the pocket of Mohammad Amjad.

Similarly, cash and mobile worth Rs40,000 were stolen from the pocket of Haq Nawaz while he was shopping at G-6 Sunday Bazaar.

A Honda car of Abdul Ghafoor was stolen from the parking area of H-9 Sunday Bazaar.

Honda CD-70 of Mohammad Talah Arshad was picked from the parking area of a university located in the limits of Margalla police station.

Meanwhile, the police arrested eight suspects from different areas of the city and recovered vehicles liquor and narcotics from them, police said.

Separate cases have been registered against them and further investigations were in progress.
