RAWALPINDI: A young man was shot dead while his cousin received bullet injury in a clash between two groups in Sadigabad on early Wednesday morning, police said.

The clash took place when Mubashir Saddique, 21, and his cousin, Nabeel Sharif, 20, asked some boys not to stand in the street till late night. This led to exchange of hot words. Later the boys pulled out their pistols and opened fire at Mubashir and his cousin Nabeel, 1(illing former on the spot and injuring the latter.

Nabeel was shifted to the Holy Family Hospital where he is stated tobein a stable condition.

The alleged killers managed to escape from the scene. Staff Reporter
