PESHAWAR: A three-day annual book fair was inaugurated at Peshawar University here on Wednesday.

The book fair, organised by Study Aid Foundation for Excellence (UOP), was formally inaugurated in Puta Hall by Provincial Minister for Local Government Inayatullah Khan.

A large number of students of different departments of University of Peshawar and other educational instantiations visited the book fair and took interest in different stalls.

The visitors bought books of history, general knowledge and literature.

The students also gifted various books to each others on the occasion.

The organisers said that such useful activities could benefit the students a lot. In addition to modern gadgetries, computers and cellular phones, the students also needed to love books, they added.
