HYDERABAD: Participants in a one-day conference have said Sindh lacks a formal education policy in the wake of the 18th amendment.

Political involvement, corrupt practices in the bureaucracy and inactive role of people kept the education budget underutilised, they said.

It was presided over by MPA Rashid Khilji who is chairman of the Sindh Assembly`s standing committee on education. It was organised by Alif Allaan and Awal Taleem Ittehad.-Staff Correspondent
