LAHORE: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has ordered free medical treatment for prominent Seraiki poet Shakir Shujaabadi who is admitted to Lahore General Hospital.

According to a handout, the chief minister ordered medical treatment, financial assistance and look after for the poet.

He said the poets like Shujaabadi were a national asset.

The chief minister also sent a bouquet to the poet and prayed for his early recovery.
