RAWALPINDI: Twelve terrorists were killed in air strikes in area close to PakAfghan border in the Khyber agency on Tuesday morning, says an ISPR press release issued here on Tuesday.

The ISPR statement gave no other details.The latest strikes came a day after the military said it killed 19 militants in an intense gunbattle in which it also lost seven soldiers in North Waziristan.

The army says it has killed over 1,300 militants in North Waziristan and Khyber since June 2014.-AP
