NOWSHERA: Appointment letters were handed over to 119 women teachers here on Saturday.

Minister for excise and taxation Mian Jamshaid ud Din Kakakhel gave the letters to teachers at a function at Government High School No 1, Nowshera Cantonment. District education officer Mohammad Fayaz Khan was also present.

On the occasion, Mr Kakakhel said the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf-led provincial government had adopted a merit-based policy and provided job opportunities to talented youth. -Correspondent
