KARACHI: A 40-year-old worker of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement was shot dead in Korangi on Thursday evening in a suspected targeted attack, according to the Zaman Town police.
The officials said that Aftab Alam was attacked outside his home in a narrow street in Sector 3 ½. He sustained critical wounds and was transported to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
There was a power outage in the area at time of the incident, said Zaman Town SHO Raja Tariq.
