FAISALABAD: Lady traffic wardens along with women police will patrol around girl colleges to ensure protection of students.

The district police have constituted a special squad to keep an eye on the troublemakers who used to roam around the girl colleges and tease students.

City Police Officer Sohail Habib Tajik was informed by various quarters that theparents and girl students were facing problems due to the presence of the youth who also make stunts on their motorcycles.

Lady wardens have been given motorcycles for patrolling and wireless sets for immediate contact with the control room.

Besides, traffic sector heads have been asked to perform their duties near the women institutes.

Chief Traffic Officer Mohammad Masoom said duties of the wardens would be monitored daily.
