LAHORE: The second alumni conference of the Post-Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) was organised on Wednesday.

Several senior surgeons and physicians attended the conference and shared their experience and exposure with their colleagues.

PGMI Principal Prof Anjum Habib Vohra announced that the government was going to establish a separate campus for both the PGMI and the newlyestablished AmeerudinMedical College. He said the institute would also get a new central research lab.

Dr Vohra urged the senior doctors to modernise medical syllabus in order to cater to future needs.

Earlier, senior doctors said that the PGMI alumni conference would help disseminate medical knowledge and updates shared by old students to young medics enabling them improve their professional skills and abilities for better medical care for masses. Staff Reporter
