QUETTA: Security forces claimed to have killed two suspected militants belonging to a banned outfit during an encounter in the Killi Khazi area on Monday.

Of ficial sources said that two unidentified men opened fire when the Frontier Corps (FC) personnel interceptedthem for a routine check, resulting in the shootout. Both men were killed during the firing.

The FC personnel shif ted the bodies to the civil hospital for medico-legal formalities.

`Two militants of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army were killed in the exchange of fire,` ISPR of ficials claimed, adding that the suspects were involved in terrorist attacks, kidnapping for ransom, highway robberies and other heinous crimes.
