QUETTA: A large quantity of arms and ammunition has been seized during a search operation in Toba Achakzai area of Kila Abdullah district bordering Afghanistan.Personnel of Frontier Corps and an intelligence agency launched the operation on receiving information about dumping of illegal arms and ammunition in the area, an FC spokesman said, adding that the consignment was to be sent to Quetta and other areas of Kila Abdullah for sub-versive activities.

The seized weapons include 10 missiles,36rocketlaunchers,43grenades, 36 fuses and thousands of rounds of bullets.

No arrest was reported but the operation continues to nab those involved in smuggling the weapons.
