KARACHI: Over 200 students were awarded scholarships by the Chinese consul general at a ceremony held at the Sheikh Zayed auditorium, Karachi University, on Saturday.

Speaking at the programme, Chinese consul general Wang You appreciated the progress of KU Confucius Institute and said it was making the Chinese language popular in the Pakistani society and strengthening academic relations between the two countries.
