ISLAMABAD: Robbers and burglars struck at six places and made off with cash, gold, valuables and vehicles, police said here on Wednesday.

In the first incident, three women came to the house of Brig Taufeeg Khan in F-11/2 in search of employment but when they left valuables worth Rs1.4million were missing from the house.

In the second incident some unidentified burglars broke into the house of Sayed Ahmad, in G-8/2 and made off with gold ornaments and valuables worth Rs750,000.

In another incident, some culprits broke into the house of Raja Mohammad Ali at Farash Town and took away cash, valuables worth Rs280,000 and property documents.

Three armed persons targeted the house of Gulam Abbas at Garden Town and looted cash and valuables worth Rs70,000 at gunpoint.

Meanwhile, some autothieves lifted a vehicles of Aurangzaib from outside of his house at Rawal Town, while a motorcycle Honda CD-70 worth Rs45,000 of Sayed Zaib was also stolen from the parking area of Savour Food at Blue Area.
