GHALANAl: The political administration has beefed up security after threats of terror attacks in the agency on the occasion of the Independence Day, officials said here on Saturday.

They said that they had got information about potential terror attacks in parts of Mohmand Agency on the occasion of Independence Day.

They said six suicide bombers had reportedly entered the tribal agency to carry out attacks in different areas to create panic and fear among the local population.

They said additional contingents of FC, levies and khasadar were deployed at various locations and checkposts to keep vigil on the movement of saboteurs.
