ISLAMABAD: Third inter-provincial education ministers meeting will be held on Tuesday to discuss proposed national curriculum commission, education policy and other l
`We are keen to form National Curriculum Commission to ensure uniform standard of education across the country and bring some changes in Education Policy 2009,` says, Minister of State for Education and Professional Training Balighur Rehman.

The said the meeting would be held in Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. `To take input of all stakeholders we have decided to hold meetings/conferences in all provinces and Azad Kashimir,` the minister told Dawn, before leaving for Muzaffarabad on Monday.

According to the agenda of the meeting/conference, President AJK will attend the conference as chief guest.

It is relevant to note here during the last inter provincial education ministers meeting, held in Islamabad in July, Kyber Pakhtunl(hwa and Sindh provinces objected to the formation of the proposed commission. The representative of the KP proposed an advisory council instead while Sindh`s representative said the matter should be discussed at the Council of Common Interest.A Reporter
