THATHA: A large number of left-wing activists, workers of various political parties and nationalist groups and lawyers, as well as people from different walks of life, attended a condolence reference to pay homage to veteran Maoist Lakhano Behrani at a ceremony held outside his residence in Ramzan Behrani village here on Tuesday.

The participants came from all provinces of the country.

Mansoor Behrani, son of Lakhano Behrani, Obhayo Khushk, Abbas Jalbani, Mohammed Ali Manchi, Aziz Keenjhrai, Ghulam Qadir Palijo and others highlighted Lakhano Behrani’s role in the struggle for revolution during the 60s-80s period and his love for books, besides his translation of Chairman Mao Tse-tung’s quotes.
