MITHI, Feb 14: Some candidates of Thar who had appeared in the written test for the post of primary teacher held here on Jan 22 have demanded the authorities concerned to announce their result.

Rekha Bai, daughter of Ranomal Khatri, resident of Mithi, told reporters here on Thursday that she had appeared in the test held at Government Girls Degree College Mithi by the National Testing Service (NTS) under seat number 315006199.

But she and many other candidates were still awaiting the result.

Ms Khatri claimed that she had registered many complaints with NTS on its helpline numbers, but in vain.

Another female candidate appearing in the test, Pushpa Soother, who passed matriculation in A-One grade, told reporters that she had not been allotted a seat number. Later, she had filled a claim form number 311665 attached with other needed particulars.

Her result was also pending.

The complaining girl candidates pointed out that result of 60 other Thari candidates had also not been announced.

When this correspondent contacted the NTS on its help line number 0335-2448898, the official attending the phone replied that the result would be announced in a few days when final merit list of PST would be prepared.
