QUETTA: Two personnel of the paramilitary Frontier Corps were injured in a bomb blast in an area of Bolan district on Sunday.

Official sources said that an improvised explosive device was placed on a roadside.

They said it went off when the FC personnel were passing through the area.

After the blast, FC men deployed in a nearby area rushed to the site and shifted the injured to a hospital.

The injured were identified as Haq Nawan and Habibullah.

A search operation was launched in the area after the incident.
