PESHAWAR: Two associate professors have been promoted to the post of professor and six assistant professors to the associate professor at the Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar.

The promotion orders were issued after the approval by the academic council chaired by Dean of the Khyber Medical College Prof Noorul Iman on Wednesday, according to a statement.

The faculty members promoted to the post of professor are: Dr Qamar Ali paediatric department and Dr Saadia Sethi the ophthalmology department.

Dr Sabir Khan and Dr Jan Mohammad of paediatric department were promoted to the rank of associate professor while Dr Abida Nasreen was promoted to associate professor at the department of gynecology and obstetrics.

Dr Attaullah Khan was promoted as associate professor in general surgery department while Dr Tajamul Khan and Dr Bakht Samar Khan were made associate professors at the ophthalmology department.—Bureau Report
