DADU: Sindh United Party president Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah was re-elected unopposed for another three-year term at the party`s 8th general council meeting during which the election was conducted by its central election committee.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Roshan Kalhoro in Sann town on Monday. Mr Shah took the oath soon after being declared elected unopposed.

Later, exercising the powers delegated upon him under the SUP constitution, Mr Shah appointed other office-bearers of the central leadership which is as follows: Syed Zain Shah: senior vice president, Dr Dodo Mehri and Pir Khalil Sarhandi: vice presidents, Roshan Buriro: general secretary, Amir Ali Thebo: deputy general secretary, Roshan Kalhoro: joint secretary, Dr Mushtaq Shaikh: finance secretary, and Idris Chandio: information secretary.
