LAHORE: An illegall under-construction building was demolished at plot No 29 block C on the Main Boulevard in Gulberg here on Monday.

A team of the Lahore Development Authority`s town planning wing also sealed another building at plot No 29 in Gulberg III, a press release said.

OFFICERS: A group of 16 probationary officers of the 44th Common Training Programme at Civil Services Academy visited the LDA office at Johar Town in connection with their field work on Monday.

Additional Director General (Headquarters) Samia Saleem briefed the ofñcers about the organization, functions, performance and future planning of the LDA and its subordinate agencies Wasa and Tepa for the development of infrastructure in the provincial metropolis.

LDA`s chief metropolitan planner Waheed Ahmed Butt informed the visiting officers that work for planning and design of new housing scheme -LDA City -would be finalized by March 2017.
