SHIKARPUR: Two minor girls died when a wall of their house collapsed in Ameen Shah Chishti Mohallah within the jurisdiction of Stuart Gunj Police Station here on Wednesday.
The victims, Amina, 5, daughter of Asif Ali Marfani, and Sohini, 6, daughter of Gul Meer Panhwar, were playing in the street when the incident occurred.
Ten thatched houses gutted
A fire broke out in a thatched house which spread to nine other houses in its vicinity, reducing all household articles and stored grain to ashes in Haji Kabeer Pahore village near Khanpur on Tuesday night.
