MITHl: A boy committed suicide in the village of Rami Ji Dhani in the Nagarparkar area of Thar desert on Wednesday.

According to Nagarparkar police station SHO Atta Mohammad Leghari, 10-year-old Amolakh Kolhi committed suicide. The body was handed over to relatives after a postmortem in the taluka hospital of the town.

The boy was found hanging from a tree.

Ropo Kolhi, father of the boy, told local reporters that his son was upset after his wife (mother of the boy) and other family members migrated to the barrage area of Mirpurkhas district to earn their livelihood.

A day earlier, 12-year-old Sobhraj Kolhi also ended his life in the same manner in the same area.
