TIMERGARA: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Malakand, plans to install CCTV cameras in the examination centres to curb cheating during the intermediate exams.

This was announced by BISE Chairman Prof Shaukat Ali while talking to a delegation of college teachers.

He also said if teachers were found guilty of not properly marking the papers they would be dismissed from service.

The college teachers appreciated the chairmen of Malakand and Peshawar boards for introducing examination reforms. They assured the Malakand board chairman of cooperation to improve examination system in the division.

Mr Ali told the delegation that eradicating cheating in examinations was not possible without the support of teachers.

Meanwhile, the Lower Dir acting nazim Abdul Rashid on Saturday directed the administration of government girls` high school, Mian Brangola, to give admission to girl students of GGPS Manrai Khadagzai who had passed the 5th grade examination from a nearby boys` school.

He said locals had informed him that the Mian Brangola school was refusing admissions in class 6th to the 25 students of Manrai school on the pretext that they had taken their 5th grade exam at a nearby boys`school.

The nazim said he would send a report to the high ups of education department if the school did not implement his directives in this regard.-Correspondent
