TANK: Employees of a Chinese company kidnapped from the Frontier Region of Tank a week ago reached here on Tuesday.

Unidentified gunmen had taken away four employees of the Chinese oil and gas survey company, PJP, from Kazmomai area situated on the border between FR Tank and Lakki Marwat district on August 9. The Chinese company is working on a survey of gas reserves in the area.

The kidnapped persons were identified as supervisor Riaz, bulldozer operator Shaukat, driver Amir Mohammad Khan and private security guard Zaro Jan.

Sources said that the khasadars and security forces launched a search operation in the area to track down the kidnappers and safely recover the abducted workers but they could not trace their kidnappers.

However, on Tuesday morning the kidnapped persons reached Shadikhel camp in Tank, confirmed political administration officials.
